Beer for Dogs

The last time I watched a dog drink a beer he circled around the floor with his head buried in the carpet for about 5 minutes, made a horrible wretching noise, threw up, and then fell asleep. Apparently this reaction hasn’t stopped the Dutch from inventing “Kwispelbier” – otherwise known as beer for dogs. Currently, it’s only made it as far as England for about $4.00 a bottle USD, but I did find Happy Tail Ale being brewed and sold right here in the good ‘ol US of A by the folks at Dog Star Brewing Company for $8.99 a six pack. Either way, I’m not convinced a Man should drop this kind of coin on his canine when a raw, meaty bone will do just fine

 

 …although I have to admit there might be something to be said for finally being able to buy Man’s best friend a cold one after all those thousands of years of loyal domestication.
